About the novel volumes

After several publications in print and online media, the gothic fantasy* novel “Eerievale” represents the most extensive and ambitious project by Lars Hannig, so far. By 2006, he had written a manuscript covering 510 pages to explore the novel’s setting and to become more familiar with the characters. The aim was to find the real story, waiting to be told. After earning his game design degree and the conclusion of several other projects, the author eventually found his way back to novel writing... he was ready to bring Eerievale to life, at last. In November 2009 he met the challenge and wrote down the raw version of the first volume of Eerievale in course of the NaNoWriMo contest. The first volume is approaching second draft stage. It still is a long way until the final version will be finished. But with every step taken, the goal gets a little closer. In November 2010 he started to write the second volume of Eerievale. About a third of this volume was written down in course of the NaNoWriMo contest. Next to the German version, an English translation of the novel will be considered, given there is enough interest.
